THE HIJACKING OF MORALITY

• The loss of our moral compass.
• Trusting in man to know what is best for man.
• The Church that did not put Christ first.
• The silent Church became the absent Church.
• Allowing school influence to take the place of the parental influence.
• Fathers with attitudes of complacency and apathy.
• Fathers abandoning fatherhood and leadership in the homes.
• Mothers abandoning motherhood and nurturing in the homes.
• Grandparents who quit supporting their future lineage opting to be anthropocentric while investing in their personal happiness instead of the personal safety and protection of their next generation.
• “Everyone did what was right in their own eyes”.
• Paralyzed by fear of public scorn instead of speak out against evil.
• “Situation Ethics” became the new “grey” and black and white gave way to color blindness.
• Spiritual numbness replaced spiritual passion.
• We turned a blind eye to evil in all forms.
• Mentors stopped mentoring.
• Accepting of substitutionary mediocrity.
• Objectification of our daughters and our wives.
• What was done in the dark and “secret places” are now being done in the light and full view of all.
• Righteousness, godliness, cleanliness, trustworthy, honesty, integrity are no longer virtues to be pursued but are now labels of prudishness, intolerance and condemned as judgmental arrogance.
• Bad company has spoiled good character.
• Obscenity laws are no longer enforced and thus porn has become a “don’t touch because no one is being hurt” billion dollar out of control monstrosity!
• We looked the other way instead of saying “NO”!!

…..we still say “no” (to getting involved) and do “no-thing” because we are fearful of rejection, reprisal, and reprehensible shame.

It’s time to say as Todd Beamer said: “let’s roll”!!! We need to get up, and take back the plane of morality that needs to fly over this land flowing with milk and honey!!
